Everything a board needs, readable in sixty seconds

The case, in six blocks

  1. The problem

The club rents its own audience

Reach on social platforms is paid for twice: once to build the following and again every time the club wants that following to see something. The platform keeps the fan identity, the behavioural data and the advertising margin. When the algorithm changes, the club's reach changes with it — and nothing about the relationship is portable.

  2. The shift

Own the surface the fan comes back to

Fanpodium gives the club its own fan platform: content, community, membership, rewards, drops, signed-item auctions and causes in one branded world. The fan logs in, so every interaction is identified and consented instead of anonymous and rented.

  3. The ownership position

Fans, traffic, content and sponsor contracts are the club's

Every club is an isolated tenant, enforced row by row in the database. Sponsors receive aggregated performance only. Everything exports to CSV or through the club's own API keys at any time, so leaving is a decision, not a negotiation.

  4. The commercial case

Six revenue streams from one audience

Digital membership, matchday and VIP upsell, official drops, signed-item auctions, sponsor packages and community causes. Membership is recurring; sponsor packages are repriced on evidence instead of estimated reach.

  5. The fan case

    Status that cannot be bought

Podium Points are earned by showing up, not purchased, and move the fan up a Superfan Passport from Bronze to Legend. Higher tiers unlock presale windows, ballots, drops and experiences the club controls — which is precisely why fans chase them.

  6. The ask

One pilot, three months, defined success criteria

Short phases with named owners on both sides, targets agreed against the club's own baseline before anything ships, and a full data export if the criteria are not met.

Fanpodium, social platforms, or build it yourself

The three routes a club realistically considers, compared on the criteria that decide it. Written to be fair to the alternatives — a club that reads a rigged table stops trusting the rest of the deck.
